Utah State Fair

Mikell and I went to the State Fair on Friday. It was so much fun! We loved just being there. We shopped a bit, looked at all the animals, got some cotton candy, saw the "Smallest Lady in the World", rode the ferris wheel, and checked out all the crazy fried food options. Made for a very enjoyable night and can't wait to go back next year.

Aren't the piglets cute?! We looked at them forever and wanted to take one home so bad! And I thought the cow bums all lined up made for a great picture. And look how cute the mommy and baby are?! I loved it.

One of the cows charged at Mikell. It was tied up but still terrifying and quite hilarious. She got a great picture though! (on her phone so I don't have it to post.)

Gotta get some cotton candy at the fair! And what that random?? Seals? Seriously?! Yeah didn't understand that one.

Hadn't rode a ferris wheel in years cuz I pretty much hate them. I'm terrified of heights and so is Kell so we thought it'd make for an interesting adventure. I hated every minute of it and we were both freaking out the whole time. Never doing it again. And it wasn't even that high, I'm a wuss.

Rascal Flatts

Kell and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert last weekend. We got pretty close lawn seats so were pretty excited. We were freezing though so went to go buy some hot chocolate and on our way back to our blanket some guy that worked there stopped us and said he was the cameraman for the concert and was looking for girls to go be in the pit. We of course said yes so we ran and grabbed our blankets, they put some wristbands on us to get us in, walked us down to the pit and put our blankets under the stage. We were very front row!!! It was amazing! Seriously one of the best nights of my life! It made for a whole new experience and made the concert that much better to be so dang close to them! We got to touch their hands a couple times so it was pretty awesome! Sara Evans opened and she was amazing!! So beautiful and so talented! Then Rascal Flatts were of course awesome and such a blast, great performers! Thanks again Kell baby for a night I'll never forget!!! Sooo much fun :)

4th of July Festivies

Like I sad I'm waaaay behind and playin major catch up. So I'm takin it clear back to the 4th of July which I should have posted about months ago but what can ya do? I had a lot to do this summer ;) Anyways we went to the Stadium of Fire this year, my first time ever and I don't think anything will ever compare now. I will go every year now. It was straight up awesome. Loved David Archuleta and Brad Paisley. It really was so good, fabulous night!

Dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory.

David. I heart him.

Brad Paisley.

The fireworks. Unreal!!

4th of July Barbecue at Oakridge. It's my favorite. I love going there. It's literally my second home and I love spending all summer there.

Well there ya have it! I wish I had more pictures from this summer of all we did but I just forgot to take them. Basically it was filled with lots of golfing, riding horses, rodeos, pool time, working, and enjoying every minute of being back in Utah and being so grateful to be home. I'm back and couldn't be happier :) XOXO!
